About Us
The Humane Society of Davie County (HSDC) is a non-profit 501c3 organization depending on the generous support from individuals and organizations within the community. We are committed to reducing euthanasia in our community through increased adoptions, transporting to partner rescues, promoting spay and neuter programs, and providing low-income pet owners with access to our food pantry. We work diligently to prevent cruelty, relieve suffering, promote spay/neuter and rescue adoptable dogs and cats in Davie County. HSDC's mission is accomplished through a small staff and largely through volunteers who donate their time and talent to the cause of stray and abandoned animals.
