My name is Kyla Glover. I live with my husband and daughter and our three funky chickens in rural Davie County, NC.
The idea for Stepping Stones Pottery was born from my own journey into creating art. I began my venture into clay in 2002 in college, where I took my first ceramics class. I fell in love with the medium of clay!

Over the years I continued learning the craft and began teaching pottery classes at a studio in Charlotte, NC. I discovered that teaching people is my other passion. It’s been 18 years since my first steps, and I have grown as an artist and a person from the healing ability of working with clay. Now, Stepping Stones Pottery allows me to guide you on your own journey into clay…

Maybe you have never tried pottery before and want to try it out – on your own or with a friend or two. Or maybe you took a pottery class years ago in college and have always wanted to get back into it. Maybe you are looking for a retreat to a rural setting to relax and try something new.

If you want to take your artistic journey to the next level, I offer customizable individual pottery lessons. These give you the opportunity to learn about the whole ceramic process as well as throwing on the wheel.
