DESCRIPTION:The Davie County Recreation and Park Team is excited to host this year's community event\, the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb\, to honor the 22nd anniversary of 9/11. The event will occur on Monday\, September 11\, 2023\, from 7:00   9:00 a.m. at the Davie County Community Park   Stadium. This event will be free and open to the public to participate in the 110-floor climb consisting of 2\,071 stairs it took to reach the top of the Twin Towers. Along with stairs\, the track will be open for community members to walk/run if they wish to participate than climbing. This event welcomes individuals and groups! \n\n \n\nA new addition to this event will feature activities and challenges starting at 8:00 a.m. for some friendly competition amongst those in uniform and the general public! Come prepared to challenge your coworkers and see if the general public can keep up! \n\n \n\nWe want to invite you\, your organization\, and all whom you wish to invite to join us in this community remembrance event to honor the heroes we lost and reflect on this historic day.
