She previously owned her own retail businesses and has worked in the non-profit sector serving adults with developmental disabilities. Currently\, she volunteers at the Small Business Center in Winston-Salem mentoring business owners and entrepreneurs on presentation skills\, retailing\, and team building. Her passion lies in supporting entrepreneurs with stakeholder discovery and problem-solving via the Design Thinking process.
