DESCRIPTION:This class is a hands-on\, fun workshop for those who are interested in learning more about diabetes. We will learn about risks and causes of diabetes\, and how to control it through healthy eating\, activity and working with your diabetes care team. We will also learn about how diabetes affects the entire body and learn ways to reduce the stress often associated with living with a chronic condition. Individuals with diabetes and their family or support partners are encouraged to attend. Alliant Quality will instruct this class.
