DESCRIPTION:The First Heroes Ball is to be held Friday\, November 11 at the WinMock at Kinderton. The dinner/dance will honor the county's firefighters\, EMT's\, rescue teams\, 911 dispatchers\, and other first responders. Funds raised by the tickets for the ball will go toward the Widows and Orphans Fund of the Davie County Firefighters Association\, any additional money will be put towards purchasing another midsize hazardous materials and multipurpose vehicle.\n\n\n\nThe ball is being held on Veteran's Day and the veterans of each of the armed services will also be recognized. Black tie is optional\, first responders and the military are encouraged to wear their uniforms.\n\n\n\nIf you are someone in Davie County who've survived a fire\, a car wreck\, or a life threatening medical emergency and would like to tell your story on video\, now is your chance. These videos will be shown at the First Heroes Balls\, and then be posted to social media.
