DESCRIPTION:Davie County will have an Over the Counter Medicine Giveaway Day\, next Friday\, July 27\, 2018 at the Brock Recreation Center. The OTC Give Away Day  is a wonderful opportunity for Davie County residents to obtain free over-the-counter medicine that can be very difficult for people on limited incomes to afford. The free event is open to the public. Giveaway items include cold\, cough and flu medicine\, Band-Aids\, pain and allergy relief medicine\, vitamins\, children's medicine and more. No ID is required. Must be 18 or older.\n\n \n\nYVEDDI has agreed to offer FREE TRANSPORTATION to the OTC event on 7/27! Just wait at any of the regular Circulator stops. For a listing of stops\, click http://ow.ly/Q1Jq30kR2iO. YVEDDI will also offer a reduced fare shuttle service to the OTC event for any person unable to meet at one of the designated Circulator stops. They will pick up any person within the county and take them to the OTC giveaway at the Brock Center in Mocksville. This option will need to be scheduled in advance by calling 336-679-2071 and will cost the rider $6 round trip.
