This beloved tradition is sure to get you in the spirit. The parade is an annual holiday event that has delighted young and old for decades.\n\n \nEach year a theme is chosen and participants take great care as they decorate holiday floats\, shine up their classic cars and the fire departments' big red trucks- or get ready to perform.\n\nLocal bands\, businesses\, church groups\, school groups and equestrians all compete for prizes and the admiration of the crowd!\n\nSome years there is a chill in the air\, but we bundle up\, stop downtown for some hot chocolate\, and reward everyone's hard work with our smiles and cheers.\n\nThe Hometown Christmas parade is different every year\, but one thing that remains the same is the heart of this town and the joy of the season.\n\nIf you are participating and looking for information about the line up\, it will be posted in the news section each year\, as well as in the local paper\, and on the home page events calendar\, so bookmark this website and check back.\n\nThere are a lot of holiday events that may change for year to year\, but you can find out about all of them by following our website or Facebook page!
