DESCRIPTION:Kevin Prater has shared his vocal and instrumental talents in 24 countries. His unlimited talents vocally and instrumentally have gained him world wide recognition and respect. Having toured with many legends of bluegrass\, his greatest pride comes in leading The Kevin Prater Band\, now in their 11th year. Forming of the band came from encouragement from life long friend and former KPB member\, Tom Timberlake. Providing the youth and high energy to the band\, the brother team of Adam Burrows " The Dancing Fiddler" and Jake Burrows on Banjo and Dobro. Adam\, first to the band \, has an amazing knowledge and resume of Traditional Bluegrass music. It has been his life long passion. Adam plays all instruments\, sings any part and has become the band comedian. Jake Burrows\, equally as talented and knowledgeable\, is getting a lot of attention for his impressive High Tenor vocals. He also plays all Instruments\, sings lead and harmony. Jake and Adam have played with many great bands\, toured at a young age with Lonesome Will Mullins\, Kody Norris Show and many others. Newest to The KPB\, Ryan Lester fills the Guitar position\, but also plays Mandolin and Bass. Ryan was blessed to be born into Bluegrass Royalty in Hurley\, VA. Ryan's grandfather\, Dean Jackson\, I as highly respected Bluegrass Musician and vocalist. Recognizing Ryan's talent at a young age\, he has Ryan on stage at age three\, chopping the Mandolin. Ryan soon mastered the other instruments and became a part of the family band\, "Bluegrass Autumn" at age five. Ryan is an incredible vocalist\, singing both lead and harmony.
