WILLIAMSON BRANCH
When it comes to music, there’s a closeness among family members that cannot be overstated. Harmonies are sweeter, rhythms are tighter, and emotions are heightened. For Williams Branch, music and family have been blending for three generations. Despite a varied background that incorporates bluegrass, country, gospel and clogging, these family band members are traditionalists in every sense.
Since forming in 2014, Williamson Branch has won number one spots on bluegrass charts and multiple awards. Melody Williamson Keyes was recognized as IBMA Momentum Vocalist of the Year In 2020. They have performed at the Ryman Auditorium, Bluegrass First Class, in Branson, Missouri, and many other important stages. Their home state of West Virginia recently voted Kevin and Debbie
into the prestigious West Virginia Country Music Hall of Fame.
Williamson Branch includes Kevin Williamson on guitar and vocals, Debbie Williamson on mandolin and vocals, Melody Williamson Keyes on fiddle and vocals, Kadence Williamson on bass and vocals,
and Caroline Williamson on mandolin, cajon and vocals.

COLIN CUTLER
Colin Cutler is a singer-songwriter based in Greensboro, NC. He decided it was “time to put that [English] degree to use in a honky-tonking album of original songs based on short stories” by Flannery O’Connor. The Georgia Catholic writer whom Kurt Vonnegut called “the greatest American short story writer of [his] generation} will be honored in Cutler’s upcoming album, Tarwater.
The title, Cutler explains, is homage to one of O’Connor’s characters and to Cutler’s father’s hometown at the junction of North Carolina’s Tar and Pamlico rivers. He describes the work as ranging “across the Americana tent: it’s gospel, it’s honky-tonk country, it’s blues-based roots rock, and the banjo does make an appearance.” Cutler is a veteran of the U.S. Army and is writing a folk opera based on Dante’s Inferno.
