1st Annual Davie County Farm Festival

Description

We are hosting a Farm Festival & Tractor Show/Parade September 8th & 9th, 2023 due to the request of many members of the community. The event will be admission free to the public so we are looking for contributions from local businesses to support our event. The event will be two days (Friday & Saturday) with a setup day on Thursday. Friday morning will be reserved for school field trips & senior citizen/nursing home visitors. On Friday afternoon, the gates will open to the public. Visitors will get to see a vintage tractor show, live demonstrations/learning experiences, live farm animals, crafts & games, farmers market, and vendors. We are also providing live music & food on-site. On Saturday we are looking to continue the events from the day before. 

We are looking to provide good, family-friendly fun for all ages to enjoy. Admission is not required, however, we are getting Second Harvest Food Bank involved and suggest a donation of $1 or 1 can/food item. Non-Farming Related Vendors/Food Vendors will be responsible for a vendor's fee. We are looking forward to your support, help make farm day something to remember and look forward to every year.
