Join Davie County Senior Services and the Dorothy Graham Family for their two-part Black History Month event. The topic will be 1619-1865... Our Journey, Our Songs. Alice Brown will speak about the Exodus from Africa, The Middle Passage Across the Atlantic, Arrivals in the New Land in 1619, Life on the Plantation, Harriet Tubman, Levi Coffin and the Underground Railroad, Fredrick Douglas, President Abraham Lincoln, and Freedom.
This year's program was organized by the Graham Family.
