The compost site located at Rich Park, 299 Cemetery Street in Mocksville, is open on the first and third Saturdays of the month from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Please follow the Town of Mocksville on Facebook and Instagram or check back here for schedule changes and closures due to weather.

Compost Costs

• Mulch/leaf compost is $5 per scoop
• Delivery fee is $25 (in addition to the compost cost)
• $10 Pick Up

Drop-off Fees

• Trailer load up to 16 feet: $20
• Truck and Trailer together: $30
• Town of Mocksville residents may drop off one load per month free.

Accepted Items

• Grass Clippings
• Tree Limbs
• Leaves
• Yard Waste ONLY

Please Note

• Yard waste will not be picked up with garbage collection.
• Residents of the Town of Mocksville are allowed one FREE drop-off per month.
• Do not throw yard waste over the fence when the gate is locked.
