Plant Propagation from Cuttings

Do you have a plant in your yard or house that you want to propagate? Maybe you are unsure of the best way to do this. Can you propagate the plants from cuttings? If so, when and how do you do this? Join Horticulture Agent Susan Hawkins to learn the basics of propagation by cuttings. We’ll discuss when and how to take the cuttings, do’s and don’ts of propagation by cuttings, media to use, and information on rooting hormone. The class will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 2:00 pm. The class will be held in a hybrid format and will be presented both in person and over Zoom. We will meet in person at the Davie County Cooperative Extension Office at 180 S. Main St., Mocksville, NC. For those who prefer to attend virtually, a Zoom link will be provided.
