Join the Davie County Chamber of Commerce for our September Monthly Meeting and the return of our Meet the Maker series, featuring Michael Brammer, co-owner of Special Event Services (SES).

The story of SES is one of entrepreneurship, relationships, innovation and incredible growth. What began in a Winston-Salem garage in 1986 grew alongside one of its early clients, Hootie & the Blowfish, as the band skyrocketed to national fame. That relationship continued with Darius Rucker throughout his solo career and helped put SES on the road to becoming a major force in the live entertainment industry.

Today, SES and its team help bring live experiences to life for artists and events across the country. Their impressive history includes work with names like Darius Rucker, Luke Combs, The Avett Brothers, Zac Brown Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Justin Moore, Joe Bonamassa, Glass Animals and many more.

And when tens of thousands of fans walk into a stadium or concert venue, they see the finished product. What they don't see are the countless hours, trucks of equipment, technology, logistics, crews and expertise required to build the experience before the first note is ever played.

During this special Meet the Maker conversation, Michael will take us behind the curtain to share what it takes to run and grow a business in the fast-paced world of live entertainment. We'll hear how SES grew from humble beginnings into the operation it is today, what goes into taking a major production on the road, and how a company headquartered in Davie County plays a role in creating unforgettable experiences for audiences across the country.
