Join us on the South Yadkin River for a powerful and eye-opening afternoon with activist and forager, Robin Greenfield.
For one full year, Robin is foraging 100% of his food and medicine. No grocery stores, no restaurants, no pharmacies, and not even a garden. Nature is his pantry, and this journey is a bold exploration of food sovereignty, sustainability, and living in harmony with the Earth.
During this special stop in Rowan County, Robin will share stories from his year of foraging, the lessons he’s learned, and how communities can build more resilient, local food systems. He’ll also introduce the 1 Million Community Fruit Trees Initiative, a grassroots effort to plant fruit trees and increase access to fresh, local food.
In a time when many people feel overwhelmed by environmental and social challenges, this event is a call to reconnect with our communities, our food, and the Earth itself.
